医生
不妨告诉你，当我还是个不懂事的瓜的时候，曾经想过将来要当医生。据说是一项高尚职业，而且收入都几不错一下。
有一阵子，一些很亲的亲人陆续因病而逝，当时出席丧礼也出席得麻木了（真的不是夸张）。面对那种无可奈何，当医生的想法突然坚定了。“要向病魔挑战。”心里是有这么想过。
时过境迁，人长大了，发觉原来不行。面对血淋淋的东西，固然有点怕，不过那还不至于太可怕。真正怕的，是见到别人那种痛苦样子。要天天面对这些？Nooooo！于是很肯定地，把当医生的可能性给除掉了。
要做到慈悲为怀，难啊。
看到成绩放榜的新闻，随之而来好像又有人开始提起医学系学额不足的问题。我说，真正该担心的，是那些要当医生的清不清楚这是他们确实想要的？真的那么多人有伟大的心怀啊？别怪我小人之心，只是，选错了，苦了自己，也苦了别人。
真有一天，不小心被庸医给医死了，该骂谁啊？当然啦，到那个时候，想要破口大骂，也骂不出来了，那才真的叫无可奈何……妖！

Kids thinking of become Lawyer, Doctor, Architect or whatever profession are usually from eastern world. As most parents think "by becoming such profession" will lead to a better life. So what they "heard" was lawyer, doctor, blah.....

现在还有“慈悲为怀”的医生吗？！
照富，我们的朋友中有很多医生的，可以问问他们。;p
Do what you want to do. Or more explicitly, what you like doing, what you're passionate about. If you think about it, we spend about half our lives working. If we don't work on something we enjoy doing, isn't that a waste of our life?
If helping to cure sickness is something of importance, there are many ways to do that. Doctors are just a part of the equation (an important part, nonetheless). Managing the business aspects of running the hospital, developing new medical technology etc are all different ways one can contribute to curing sickness.
Regarding the argument that being a doctor is a stable and high-paying job, I think in Asian cultures too much emphasis is put on having a "stable job with stable income". I believe that if you like what you're doing, and strive to do it well, money will flow in naturally.
So, just do what you want. Hey, if I were good enough to be able to play video games professionally, that's something I would do too. :)

我特别提起医生，主要不是讨论如何选职业，而是因为医生这个职业有很严重的 unfair advantage，是其他职业没有的。
这个优势的来由也简单，因为凡是人都怕死的，比如不小心中 cancer，你接下来恐怕要靠医生了。因为做医生不容易，所以医生长期短缺，导致医药服务夸张地贵，进一步加深资本社会里的恶性循环。
因为这个 unfair advantage，所以说，绝对不能随随便便让一个人当医生。解决医生短缺的问题，是一个难解的死结。
防范胜于治疗，平时就应该好好照顾自己的健康。

医生在很多国家还是可以轻易避免因“误杀”而惹的官司呢！
以前也曾经想过当医生。幸好没有。第一，不够人聪明，第二，不够人伟大，第三，不够人勤劳。
在澳洲，修理水电也可百万。爸，你为什么叫我去读专业呢？
